Homewood Suites by Hilton East Rutherford - Meadowlands, NJ

The location way amazing. The facilities were acceptable. Comfortable for the price point.

Large, clean suite for a week-long stay. Very comfortable, working air-conditioning. Fantastic hot breakfast with tea, coffee, fruit juice, fruit, oatmeal, bread, bagels, and pastries. Swimming pool, gym, practice basketball court, plenty of parking, great WiFi, right beside stores, Aldi supermarket, liquor store, Dollar, restaurants. Walking distance to East Rutherford, Rutherford (with train connections to NYC and Hoboken and rest of New Jersey). Bus connection to NYC from Rutherford (bus 190), bus to Newark Penn Station and Hassensack (76). I had a very enjoyable stay. Thank you. The suites have refrigerator, cooker, dish washer.

The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool was a decent size with a lot of space to lounge. The sauna was another feature I thoroughly enjoyed it got good and hot and canceled noise very well. We also worked out in the gym.

Friendly staff who explained the charges before asking for my card, discreetly wrote down my room number instead of saying it loudly (female checking in alone). Very clean, festive decor, saltwater pool, 2 elevators, lots of breakfast variety: proteins, fresh fruit, junk food, etc. Easy to get to NYC, lots of stores and quick service restaurants nearby.

The breakfast was terrific every morning. Those who put out the breakfast and made sure everything was filled and clean were delightful. The room was nice and provided us with a nice place to relax in the evenings and bring in dinner when we didn't want to go out. This hotel is within walking distance of New Jersey transit that easily takes you to Hoboken and on into Manhattan on the PATH.
